The room was very comfy with a wonderful view of Bellingham Bay. One can take a good walk or run "on the water" on the boardwalk which is visible from the room. Also can walk to many good restaurants and shops in Fairhaven.
Need more towel racks.

The view was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.
I signed up for a 90 minute spa after hiking. It was the worst massage I have ever gotten. I would love to go back to this hotel, but I would never get another massage there. The massage was expensive and inadequate.

Overall good experience, excellent view and relaxing for hotel guest. Breakfast is good. Room design is luxurious, meet expectation as luxury hotel.
Drawback is train noise in the middle of the night. Can wake you up few times, it is not too relaxing if cannot sleep well during vacation.

It is a beautiful facility and the room I stayed in was lovely. The timing of my trip coincided with a remodel project so I was unable to utilize the restaurant or lounge
The remodel project dampened my massage experience unfortunately and I was unable to enjoy the restaurant

Fantastic view, gorgeous room and very comfortable surroundings including lovely blanket, great window seat, fireplace, deep bath, roomy shower
Just the train noise which others mention and the garbage collectors came at around 6:30 am Saturday morning!

Beautiful location, friendly staff, very clean, great amenities in the room, easy parking and access.
Told desk person on checkout that pocket door in bathroom was binding so bad we couldn't close it. Although the buffet breakfast price was very reasonable, we thought that since the chef wasn't too busy, we might have liked a menu selection better. Would have been nice if there was a microwave in the room (#214).

Beautiful location and accomodations. The service was wonderful.
There was only one fitted sheet on the bed and the comforter was too hot. I do like to have two sheets on the bed. No big deal though
